Biography of Sayed Ali Kazemi, Deputy Minister Parliamentary Affairs
Mr. Sayed Ali Kazemi, son of Sayed Gul was born in 1971 in Lolanj village of Surkh Parsa district of Parwan province.
Primary and Secondary Education
Mr. Kazemi has pursued his primary and secondary studies in his hometown and graduated from Pul-e-Khumri Central High School in Baghlan province.
Sayed Ali Kazemi has received his bachelor degree in Political Science from Payam-e-Noor University of Kabul in 2009.
Mr. Kazemi has made official trips to various countries to attend short courses and seminars of professional capacity building and share and exchange experiences.
In addition to the official languages of the country (Pashto and Dari), Mr. Kazemi has good command over speaking and writing of English language.
Duties and Responsibilities
Dr. Kazemi has worked on the following government and non-government positions:
- Leader of the Iqtidar-e-Milli (National Authority) Party since 2007.
- Member of Lower House of Parliament representing people of Kabul in the 15th legislative term from 2009 to 2018.
- Deputy Minister of Parliamentary Affairs in the State Ministry for Parliamentary Affairs since September, 2020.
Mr. Kazemi has received numerous awards, certificates of appreciation and medals for his outstanding performance and excellent management during his employment tenures.
