SMPA Minister thanks WJ for Approving the National Budget

The National Budget for the current fiscal year (1400) was approved by members of the Wolesi Jirga (Lower House of Parliament) today on 22nd of February, 2021.

The national budget plays a very fundamental and constructive role in making government system run smoothly and has a direct impact on the process by which the government provides services to the people of Afghanistan. Besides, the implementation of development projects in different provinces of the country also depends on the budget.

With the approval of the national budget, not only the affairs of the government run smoothly, but also the people benefit from all large and small development projects.

In this regard, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Speaker of the Wolesi Jirga, Mr. Mir Rahman Rahmani, the members of the Administrative Board and all the esteemed representatives of the nation in the Wolesi Jirga for understanding the problems of the nation approved the third draft of the national budget for FY 1400.
