Warm Thanks and Appreciation:

As we understand that Wolesi Jirga (National Assembly) approved the National Budget for the fiscal year 1399, and closed the first year of the seventh legislative session of Wolesi Jirga.

Therefore, State Ministry for Parliamentary Affairs offers the warmest thanks and appreciation to both chambers of Milli Shora (the National Assembly) for their efforts and close collaboration in terms of consideration the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's priorities in all areas, including approval of important legislative documents as well as the national budget as per the obligations set out in the constitution.

I hope the honorable members, who are the nation's top representatives, will work closely with their people during the one-and-a-half-month winter vacation.  They will notice and hear all the problems of their Clients and will try their best in solving the problems during the next term of legislative session.

I also hope that second year of the seventh legislative period will be more successful rather than the first year.

Dr. Ghulam Farooq Wardak

Minister of State in Parliamentary Affairs
